New Date! We are now running on Sunday 15h September 2024!
Clubs Unite at the Beach is a giant charity VW meet at Weston-Super-Mare open to all VW’s and VW clubs. This year we are supporting the Jessie May charity – an absolutely amazing Bristol based charity whose specialist nurses provide at home nursing and respite care for children and young people that have a terminal or life-limiting condition throughout the South West.
Gates will open at 10am and the meet closes at 3pm. We will have the amazing O’s Mobile Coffee van serving up your favourite hot beverages and we will also have a food van serving up breakfast rolls and lunch however you are more than welcome to bring your own BBQ’s (providing they are off the ground). We will also be joined by a couple of traders including Bristol Detailing Supplies, Chubbs Merch, GP Campers and Vee Dub Family.
Our team will be out with collection buckets around the event so be sure to bring your loose change or raid the ashtray!
The primary space we use is Lawn 6 towards the far end before the beach entry if driving towards Uphill (just after the turning to the main sea front and Tropicana) or just after the Clarence Road North cross roads if driving from Uphill.
Public toilets are available just down from the beach entrance and at the Tropicana and there is a charge of 30p which can be paid by contactless or with coins. The cafe next to the Tropicana will also be open.
Be sure to keep up to date with all event information on our social media – you can find us on Facebook and Instagram.
Entry to the event is just £6* per vehicle (Volkswagens only) when purchased in advance below or £8 on the gate, proceeds from CUATB ’24 will be donated to the Bristol based charity Jessie May. Remember that our entry charge is per vehicle – you can bring as many passengers as you can legally fit in your vehicle!
The event is open to the everyone no matter what you may drive, however anyone who would like to attend in a vehicle marque other than Volkswagen will need to use the public parking along Marine Parade and pay the daily rate to the council of £10 and then make a donation to enter. This is to comply with our license from the council.
We will provide some further details on our social media about extra ways you can help the charity in the run-up to the event.
*excluding payment gateway charges
