Vee Dub Family 2025 Weekender Campout

It’s our 10th birthday in 2025 and we are heading back to Holiday Resort Unity (aka Unity Farm) in Brean for our Weekender Campout. Due to the weather being unsettled on our last two years we have made the decision to permanently move the campout to June moving forwards. Don’t worry though, we will still be celebrating our birthday both here and at other events throughout 2025!

If you’re new to the group this is just a chilled out camp on a premium holiday site where you can reconnect with friends and make new ones. Everyone gets their own full size electric pitches to accommodate a single sleeping unit with each pitch allowed up to six people (max 4 adults per pitch). Our campout will be split across both Brown and Green fields, if you would like to be next to certain friends please be sure to add a note of their name on your booking in the specific pitch request notes during checkout and we will do our best to accommodate these requests. Please note this camp out is for members of the Vee Dub Family group – we shall be checking membership and participation in the Facebook group before we accept any bookings.

Whilst there is plenty to do on and around site, we will be running kids entertainment, a family friendly quiz, our merchandise tent and of course the amazing water fight will make a return! We will also be holding a minutes applause at the event area on the Saturday evening in memory of Derek Delboy Tarrant – for those who didn’t know him, he was a key member of our admin team who sadly passed away just a few days after our 2024 Weekender. Derek’s family will be in attendance with us and we invite everyone to come along, raise a glass of something, join in the applause and talk about your memories of him or just to show your respect.

Second vehicles (non-camping units) and dogs (max three per pitch) are permitted however they will incur additional charges, please add the appropriate tickets at checkout. Departure on the Sunday morning is at 10am, however if you would like to have a late checkout on Sunday then you need to add the Sunday night to your booking meaning that you can stay on your pitch up until 10am on Monday morning. If doing this then you can remain pitched up and enjoy all the facilities on site including Brean Splash and Leisure Park, head over to the beach and just head on home when ready without having to worry about packing down and being off your pitch early.

During your stay you will be able to receive discounted entry to the onsite water park Brean Splash, Brean Play (soft play) and Brean Leisure Park. For Brean Splash & Brean Play, booking is done via the Unity app in advance by selecting Unity Guest, you will then need to display your pass which we will give you when you check in with us on arrival along with your event sticker (everyone loves a sticker!). Discount for Brean Leisure Park is applied when purchasing entry from Unity reception during your stay. Also onsite are arcades, bars, shops, takeaways, pubs, parks, a BMX pump track, club house hosting entertainment for all ages including bingo and kids shows and more, all of which is included with your weekend. There is also a market running next to the Leisure Park over the weekend (a five minute stroll from our fields), lots of walks and cycle tracks, the beach of course and many other things to do locally including a golf course and the awesome Animal Farm Adventure Park just a few minutes from the site.

Fire pits and BBQ’s are permitted providing that they are a minimum of 12 inches off the grass – Unity reserve the right to charge anyone who damages the grass on their pitch where they have not followed the rules or been negligent.

We love all of your dub dogs but please note that whilst dogs are welcome on site they are not permitted inside the entertainment venues, arcade, pool, soft play, leisure park or secret wood. These are rules applied by Unity – please check their website if you have any concerns or queries. All dogs must be kept on leads and be under the control of a responsible adult at all times on site, there are no exceptions.
